Q1. Do I have to pay to take part in this service? It looks too good to be true?
A1. All you have to do is register (IT'S FREE!) and start bidding. At the bidding time you just have to buy credits. The credit option are on bidding page.
Q2. How does BonkerBids Work?
A2. BonkerBids is a unique fresh way to win items at auction for a fraction of the retail value, The winner of each auction is not necessarily the highest bidder, just the highest Unique bid (no one else has bid the same amount) The maximum amount anyone could win the auction by bidding is the max price which is set for each auction.
Q3. What process is involved to make a winning bid?
A3. After joining BonkerBids Auctions, members select the item they wish to bid on and place a valid bid that cannot exceed the displayed max price.
Members may bid as often as they wish on available items. Each valid bid will be documented in the My Account part of our website.
A bid credit/s will be charged for each valid bid. The bid credits are determined item by item. Bid credits for each item are displayed with each auctioned item on the BonkerBids website. Each auction has a limited quantity of valid bids allowed.
The auction will successfully close upon receipt of the required quantity of valid bids (Note - auctions may be closed/withdrawn at BonkerBids Auction's discretion without notice, any auction withdrawn will have all bids received credited back to bidder accounts)
The number of valid bids allowed or remaining available is displayed with each item. The Bidder that submitted the highest unique valid bid will win the product. In the event that an auction has no unique valid bid, the Bidder that first submitted the highest non-unique valid bid will win the product.
The successful Bidder will receive a notification email directing them to confirm their order within five business days. The auctioned item will be processed and shipped to the address on record for the successful Bidder.
Q4. How much does it cost to bid?
A4. For each auction there is an Bid Credit amount, each credit costs $1.00 to purchase so an auction with an bid credit amount of 2 would in effect be costing you $2.00 per bid. Below is the credits details: $1.00 = 1 Bid Credit $5.00 = 5 Bid Credit $10.00 = 10 Bid Credit ( +1 free) $25.00 = 25 Bid Credit ( +3 free) $50.00 = 50 Bid Credit ( +6 free) $100.00 = 100 Bid Credit ( +12 free)
Q5. How do I bid?
A5. If you bid the max price you will not necessarily win the auction. The winner of the auction will be the person who has bid the highest unique price.
For example, if the max price is $100.00, you could bid $99.99. If $99.99 is the highest unique bid (no one else bid that amount and no one else bid a higher unique price) you will win the auction.
Q6. What is a Unique Bid?
A6. A bid is unique when there hasn't been another bidder bidding the same amount. A unique bid wins each auction.
Each auction has a different maximum number of bids allowed. For example, if there is an auction with only three bidders allowed and two of them bid the max price of $50.00 and one of them bids $9.10, the $9.10 bid will win because it is the highest unique bid.
Remember the highest bidder may not win the auction - it is the highest unique bid.
Q7. How can I increase my chances of winning?
A7. BonkerBids is different from regular auctions, giving everyone an equal chance of winning every auction.
The winning bid will never be more than the max price set for each auction.
The number of bids allowed on each auction is set before the auction begins.
There are no methods by which a bidder can gain an advantage over other bidders; all bids are kept hidden until the end of each auction.
The only way to increase your chances of wining is to bid multiple times, obviously someone who bids five times have more of a chance of winning than someone who bids once.
If you bid multiple times on the same auction, you are increasing your chances of winning that auction by covering a wider range of bids.
Q8. When can I submit bids?
A8. Bidders may submit valid bids at anytime of day or night that an auction is still open.
Q9 Can I submit more than one bid per auction?
A9. The number of valid bids for a given auction is limited to the required number of valid bids as displayed for each auctioned item.
There is no limit to the number of valid bids a member may submit for an auctioned item.
Q10. How are successful bids determined?
A10. Upon receipt of the required quantity of valid bids, BonkerBids will review all valid bids and identify the successful valid bid.
The Bidder that submitted the highest unique valid bid will win the product. The successful Bidder will receive a notification email directing them to confirm their order within five business days.
In the event that an auction has no unique valid bids, the Bidder that first submitted the highest non-unique valid bid will win the product.
Q11. How can I see what the winning bid was in an auction?
